Inspired by the intensely rich orange hues of the California Poppy bloom, this abstract composition combines some of my favorite elements - blue skies with streaks of clouds and gorgeous blooms with their light green foliage.

Painted using palette knives and acrylic paints on a cradled birch wood panel, there is a variety of textures, from more heavily layered paint to thinner layers that allow the wood grain to show through.

This work ships unframed and displays nicely on the wall with the wood sides exposed. If you prefer it framed you can easily add a frame to this standard size panel.
