The Gestural Abstractions Collection was born out of a period of creative exploration focused on the physicality of the creative process - how brushes are held and moved as well as continuing movements beyond the surface edges.
Each of these works combines a variety of mediums including ink, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, conte and oil pastels to create visual texture and layers. The paper is mounted on a deep cradled birch wood panel and then sealed with a light coat of wax buffed to a matte sheen.
At 8x8 inches square, these works are small and mighty! They will add presence and a sense of movement to a space.
