Walk in the Woods 2

$395.00
sold out

8”x10”x.075”

Acrylic on cradled wood panel

Ready to hang

This painting was inspired by an afternoon walk and sketching session in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. I wanted to capture the feeling of being amongst the rich layers of trees in all different sizes and shades.

Walk in the Woods 1 and 2 pair well together.

Painted using palette knives and acrylic paints on a cradled birch wood panel, there is a variety of textures, from more heavily layered paint to thinner layers that allow the wood grain to show through.

This work ships unframed and displays nicely on the wall with the wood sides exposed. If you prefer it framed you can easily add a frame to this standard size panel.

Colors displayed are as close to the original work as possible. There may be some variations depending on your monitor or device.
