Bloom - Lilac
4”x 4”x 1.5”
Acrylic on cradled wood panel
Ready to hang
Confession: there aren’t any lilac bushes in my neighborhood park. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen seen Lilacs in San Francisco unless it was at the florist. This painting was a yearning to touch and smell the beautiful pale violet Lilacs from a very old and large Lilac bush at my family homestead in Wisconsin.
Painted using palette knives and acrylic paints on a cradled birch wood panel, there is a variety of textures, from more heavily layered paint to thinner layers that allow the wood grain to show through.
Shop currently supports orders placed within the US. If you need shipping outside the US, please email me.
This work ships unframed and displays nicely on the wall with the wood sides exposed. If you prefer it framed you can easily add a frame to this standard size panel.
Colors displayed are as close to the original work as possible. There may be some variations depending on your monitor or device.
